Deleted Scene

Dear Reader:

I hope you enjoyed The Intersect.

As with any novel, scenes are often rewritten before being completely eliminated from the final manuscript. One of my favorite scenes, which I struggled to keep in the book up until the very last moment, offers an insight into Daisy’s thoughts on the world of mass media and modern journalism. I cut the scene because it interrupted the flow of the story and was a bit preachy—but I still think it offers an interesting perspective worth sharing.
